Celebrate Like a Local
Italian Traditions
The summer months on the Amalfi Coast are full of festivals that celebrate various patron saints and food. There is always a spectacular fireworks display set off from a floating platform on the sea to close the evening. The Amalfi Coast is noted throughout Italy for having the most impressive fireworks
displays, lasting for over 30 minutes with a beautiful panoramic backdrop, so this is a unique way to immerse into
the local culture. The captain will pick you up for a sunset cruise, drop you off to enjoy the festival/village, then meet you back at the pier so that you can cruise out a bit and see the fireworks with the coast in the background. Eat, drink, swim and celebrate ... we will take care of the rest!
The most notable festivals are: Ferragosto in Positano and Maiori, Santa Maria Maddalena in Atrani, San'Andrea in Amalfi, San Pietro in Cetara, Santa Trofimena and the annual food festival in Minori, Sfogliatella pastry festival in Conca dei Marini, and Santa Maria Assunta in Maiori and more. Ask us if there is a festival during your holiday on the coast and we will send you the different options.
